Jawane Hilton is an educator and pastor who is committed to bringing diverse groups of people together to get things done for Carson neighborhoods.

Jawane was first elected to the Carson City Council in June 2015 and appointed as Mayor Pro Tem in 2018—making him the youngest person to ever be elected and appointed as Mayor Pro Tem in the City of Carson.

Jawane is the founder and senior pastor of City on the Hill Church in Carson. He also founded a school that focuses on helping at-risk youth get the the education and job
