Steppin On Toes

In the book of revelation Jesus quickly and clearly condemns the lifeless state of the Sardian church: “I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead” (Revelation 3:2). This church may have had a good reputation, but they were spiritually lifeless. In other words, the church was filled with unsaved people going through the motions of religion. The 7 churches represent 7 time frames, some simultaneously ending in the trubulation. Sardis, takes place in our generation from Martin Luther's timeframe to the tribulation. He is talking to us. He is as we say in Church lingo "Stepping on our toes!" The guage of the salvation of this world is the Church. Unfortunately, we have become impotent and somewhat powerless. Join us tonight as we start another fire to consume our lukewarm religion!!!
